Addressing Misinformation: Clarifying the Standards

It has come to our attention that there are circulating rumors, initiated by an external party without direct knowledge of our facility, suggesting substandard conditions at Kindness Matters Ferret Rescue. We find it necessary to address these claims with a commitment to transparency and accuracy.

Enclosed within this post are photographs showcasing the litter box and sleep areas within the dining and living room spaces at our facility. It is crucial to note that these images were captured at the end of the day, well after our comprehensive morning cleanup routine had been completed. We maintain a meticulous regimen of waste management throughout the day to uphold cleanliness standards.

Our practice includes the responsible use of washable pee pads, which are only replaced when visibly soiled to minimize waste and ensure efficient hygiene. Our ferrets enjoy the privilege of free-roaming within designated areas of our residence 24/7, which encompass the kitchen, dining room, living room, hall, two bedrooms, guest bath, and master bath.

Additionally, our commitment to the well-being of our ferrets is reflected in their diverse and nutritionally balanced diet. They are provided with a selection of five different kibble foods, supplemented by several freeze-dried raw food options. Our facilities are equipped with an abundance of toys and tunnels to enrich their environment and stimulate their active engagement.

We appreciate the continued support of our community and welcome any inquiries or visits from those genuinely interested in the welfare of our ferrets and the practices employed at Kindness Matters Ferret Rescue. Our doors are open, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of care for our cherished ferret residents.
